Hey there and thank you for checking out this video from Orange Security – we make security cameras simple. Located here in beautiful South West Florida we serve the whole of the United States of America.

Let’s take a quick first look at the Orange Security security camera recorders.

This is our 4 camera recorder. The 8 and 16 are essentially the same – just with more camera inputs!

On the front of the recorder, the most important thing to be aware of is the USB port. This is where to plug in a usb memory stick for backing up footage.

Here are the 4 camera video inputs. Each has its own audio input below.

Next we have the BNC video output to connect to a standard definition monitor along with an audio output under that.

There are 2 connector blocks. These are rarely used and we would suggest seeking advice before use.

Next is the VGA video output connection for a computer monitor. This is high definition.

Alongside that sits the HDMI video output connection for a TV. This is also HD.

Then there is the Ethernet port which is to connect the recorder to an existing network for accessing the recorder remotely either on your computer or smartphone.

Next is a USB port – primarily used for the mouse.

There is then the power input connection for 12 volt DC.

Finally, there is another connector block for PTZ camera control.

There you have it – a very brief first look at our security camera recorders.
