Hey there and thank you for checking out this video from Orange Security – we make security cameras simple. Located here in beautiful South West Florida we serve the whole of the United States of America.
Let’s take a look at our open dome turret cameras with fixed lens. It features either a 3.6mm or 8mm fixed lens which will give you identification at up to about 20 feet from the camera for the 3.6 and about 40 feet for the 8. The camera body comes in either white or black color.
The connections for both power and video are industry standard. Video is BNC. There are 2. The yellow one is the full HD output and the white is standard definition analog output allowing you to connect to an older existing recorder.
The joystick in the cable allows you to access the on screen display menu for the camera. Here you can make adjustments to settings on the camera. A word of warning – the factory default settings are pretty good and we wouldn’t recommend changing them without our advice.
The included hex key is for the easy-lock system on the mounting bracket.
Take the included hex key and loosen but don’t undo the locking bolt for the easy-lock system. Slide the locking tab forward and the collar will come away from the camera. You can now take the camera ball off the mounting plate.
The mount has 4 screw holes to be used to fix the plate to the mounting surface.
If the camera is to be fitted with totally concealed wiring, the cable can go straight through the mounting plate and through the wall. If you will have surface mounted wiring, there is a cut out in the plate to allow the wire through.
Refit the collar using the two locating tabs. While pushing down at the front, slide the easy-lock tab into place holding the collar and camera down. Use the hex key to lock it in place.
There we have it – one of our most popular camera body designs in a great package.
