Hey there and thank you for checking out this video from Orange Security – we make security cameras simple. Located here in beautiful South West Florida we serve the whole of the United States of America.
Let’s take a look at our bullet cameras with fixed lens. It features either a 3.6mm or 8mm fixed lens which will give you identification at up to about 20 feet from the camera for the 3.6 and about 40 feet for the 8.
The connections for both power and video are industry standard. Video is BNC. There are 2. The yellow one is the full HD output and the white is standard definition analog output allowing you to connect to an older existing recorder.
The joystick in the cable allows you to access the on screen display menu for the camera. Here you can make adjustments to settings on the camera. A word of warning – the factory default settings are pretty good and we wouldn’t recommend changing them without our advice.
The included hex key is for adjusting the mounting bracket.
You can see the infra red LEDs that allow the camera to see in the dark and the sensor to tell the camera when to turn from day mode to night and back again. The lens is in the middle.
This is a really popular camera body design of ours that gives great flexibility when installing. To get the camera pointing where you need, you will need a cross head screwdriver and the included hex key.
Loosen all three adjustment points and you will be able to have the camera pointing in any direction and always have the horizon level.
The two screws on the top of the camera allow you to adjust the cowling forward and backwards for rain or sun protection. We recommend a position about in the middle.
There we have it – one of our most popular camera body designs in a great package.
