Small Home Security Camera System
This double-wide home is approximately 1,200 sqft and is the owner’s main residence. The owner lives on her own and is most interested in the security benefits that a surveillance system brings. A local property was recently subject to a burglary during the day however the owner is concerned they may be targeting homes in the area. The homes are located close to each other. There is one entrance door under the car port. The door on the North side has been permanently closed up so is not a concern. There is one small window to the front and rear that the owner is not concerned about.
|Camera 1||Open Dome Turret Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens||To look along the North side of the property. The door on that side of the property is permanently closed up. There should be no issue of sun glare with this camera due to that aspect being North facing. Due to the height limitations of this property the open dome camera is the perfect option. Available with the camera body in either white of black to the owner’s preference.|
|Camera 2||Open Dome Turret Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens||To look along the South side of the property under the car port. The primary aim of this camera is the windows along the side of the property. The secondary aim is to offer cover to the owner’s car. Due to the height limitations of this property the open dome camera is the perfect option. Available with the camera body in either white of black to the owner’s preference.|
|Camera 3||Open Dome Turret Camera with 3.6mm Lens||To identify anyone who comes to the front door. As people walk up stairs they naturally look up. This should give a perfect opportunity for the camera to identify the person. In the recent local burglary, it was the front door that was used to gain access – this is an area of concern for the owner. Due to the height limitations of this property the open dome camera is the perfect option. Available with the camera body in either white of black to the owner’s preference.|

Extensions of the Surveillance System
Due to 3 cameras being discussed, the correct recorder would be the 4 Camera HD-TVI recorder. This would give 1 additional camera input which could be filled at a later date if the owner required. The extension proposed by Orange Security would be to either cover the entrance to the external storage at the rear of the car port or to have a camera just inside the front door so that if a person was to gain entry they wouldn’t expect a camera and would be immediately caught.
