Loading Bay Security Cameras
A set of receiving loading bays had no security cameras. The company had experienced a number of incidents of damage to the loading dock area. The damage they had experienced had 2 causes. Vehicles driving into things they shouldn’t and vandalism over night. The general manager of this location was also concerned about health and safety. For this reason a small security camera system was planned to protect the loading bays.
The location already had a basic security camera system that covered a small selection of areas. The idea was that this new system would be a standalone system solely for the loading bay area.
|Cameras 1, 2 & 3||Bullet Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens||To look directly at the loading bays from inside the location. These cameras look out for any damage that could happen by staff, by drivers or by unauthorized personnel. They also allow to ensure drivers are not entering part of the site where they are not allowed to be. Bullet camera body mount allows flexible and convenient mounting options.|
|Cameras 4 & 5
||Open Dome Turret Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens||These cameras provide a general overview of the outside of the loading dock area, predominantly for when there are no trucks and/or semis and watch for vandalism. When used with a monitor, would allow the office staff to see when vehicles arrive.|
Extensions of the Surveillance System
The general manager of this particular location also wanted to evaluate the quality of the security cameras as she was considering replacing the others throughout the location. The customer ended up installing a monitor in the dispatch office to allow them to see when (and which) vehicles were outside. Our 8 Camera HD-TVI Recorders was selected. The customer was very happy and did indeed come back for more!
This sample system can be used in conjunction with the other sample system for warehouses.
