Office Block Security Camera System
This single story office block is arranged around an internal garden courtyard area. There is a main entrance to the front of the building, a lightly used secondary entrance to the side and an emergency exit to the rear. The building manager is only concerned about public spaces up to the reception desk and the secondary/emergency exits. Currently there is no appetite to provide any coverage to the car park. At night and weekends, the front doors are locked and access is by issued pass only.
|Cameras 1 & 2||Bullet Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens||These two cameras to work as a pair monitoring the outside of the front entrance. The building manager wanted to ensure he got a great image of anyone approaching the front doors in case of vandalism or forced entry. These cameras will produce great quality images.|
|Camera 3||Open Dome Turret Camera with 3.6mm Lens||This camera is to be positioned next to the side entrance. This is only to monitor people coming up to this door. This door is lightly used. Camera body available in either white or black to manager’s preference.|
|Camera 4||Internal Dome Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens||To cover the front doors of the office block so everyone who comes into the building has an identifying image captured. This camera will be enabled with motion detection out of hours. This will allow the building manager to quickly review who came into the building at these times. This camera does not feature on board infra red – the lights in the communal areas are on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.|
|Cameras 5 & 6||Internal Dome Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens||To cover the secondary entrance on the side and emergency exit to the rear. This camera does not feature on board infra red – the lights in the communal areas are on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.|
Whilst this is only a single story office block, the same principles apply for a multi-story block. Cameras around the elevator and staircase would likely be installed as well.
Extensions of the Surveillance System
The system features 6 cameras which would work perfectly with our 8 Camera HD-TVI Recorder. The building manger was not currently interested in covering the car park, however this could be easily achieved with the additional 2 camera input channels.
