  • Parts of a Bullet Camera

    Parts of a Bullet Camera

    1. Camera lens
    2. Infra Red LED – part of the IR array
    3. Zoom and focus adjusters – please note that to ensure full IP66 rating these are caps that cover the adjusters. Adjustments can be made with flat blade screwdriver
    4. Cowling – can be moved forwards or backwards to reduce glare into the camera from the sun. Not to be moved too far forward otherwise can interfere with the infra red at night
    5. Bracket – this can be adjusted in almost any direction giving great flexibility in mounting location. A couple of hex keys are required to make full adjustments. These are included

    Camera pictured is our Long Range Bullet Camera with 5-50mm Lens. The fixed lens bullet cameras that we offer are very similar in design, just a little smaller in size.

  • Parts of an Open Dome Camera

    Parts of an Open Dome Turret Camera

    1. Camera lens
    2. Infra Red LED – part of the IR array
    3. Zoom and focus adjusters – please note that to ensure full IP66 rating small bungs are provided to cover the adjusters. Adjustments are made with a small flat blade screwdriver
    4. Main ‘ball’ body of the camera – this is adjusted to point in the direction required
    5. Easy-lock system – fixes in place with hex key provided
    6. Mounting plate – fix this this to the mounting surface first can be adjusted in almost any direction giving great flexibility in mounting location. A couple of hex keys are required to make full adjustments. These are included
    7. Cowling that holds body of camera in place. This locks in place with the easy-lock system

    Parts of an Internal Dome Camera

    1. Camera Lens
    2. Plastic Dome – this protects the internal workings of the camera
    3. Body of Camera – remove this to adjust the angle of view of the camera as well as to make adjustments to the zoom and focus.

    Not Shown 2: There is a mounting plate that separates from the camera body. This is to be fitted to the mounting surface first to make installation as simple as possible

    Camera pictured is our Internal Dome Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens. The fixed lens internal dome camera that we offer is exactly the same in design.

    Note: This camera style does not feature infra red illumination

  • Parts of a Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) Camera

    Parts of a PTZ or Pan Tilt Zoom Camera

    1. Camera lens
    2. Infra Red LEDs – these are unusual to see on a PTZ camera. The intensity of the LEDs change – as you zoom the camera in, the LEDs become more intense and more focused
    3. Camera housing – this is fixed. It protects the heart of the camera. The camera itself rotates below this housing
    4. Wall mount bracket – this can be easily swapped for one of the other PTZ mounting brackets we offer
    5. Cable management panel – this allows access to the connection cables of the PTZ camera to make the connection as easy as possible

    The camera shown is our 20x Optical Zoom PTZ Camera with IR.

  • Parts of a Vandal Dome Camera

    Parts of a Vandal Dome Camera

    1. Camera lens
    2. Infra Red LED – part of the IR array
    3. Plexiglass, vandal resistant dome cover. Remove this with the hex key provided to make adjustments to the direction of view and to make zoom and focus adjustments
    4. Camera body – this holds the components of the camera
    5. Body bracket of the camera – the rest of the camera is removed from the bracket with the hex key provided to allow for easy installation. Fit this to the mounting surface first
