These are a great, general purpose camera body style that offers the greatest flexibility in mounting location and direction the camera points. The bullet cameras as sold by Orange Security have fantastically versatile mounting brackets that allow mounting on almost any surface. Not only that, but the cameras can then also be pointed in almost any direction and adjusted so the horizon is level.
This is the only camera body style that has the physical space to be used with the longer range lenses (6-22mm and 5-50mm).
This is one of the top 2 most popular camera body types that we sell here at Orange Security.

Open Dome Turret Cameras
This is a great camera body style that offers vandal resistance as well as having versatile mounting options. These can be positioned and adjusted on any vertical or horizontal surface and some angled mounting surfaces. Whilst these cameras don’t have quite the same level of vandal resistance as offered by full vandal dome cameras, the infra red illumination is more effective as it doesn’t have the thick plexiglass dome to pass through as well as not having the possibility of the IR illumination reflecting back into the lens.
We stock a large version that has a varifocal lens allowing adjustment to the exact view required and a small version that comes with a fixed lens. Available in black or white. These are great both inside and outside.
The Easy-Lock system makes fitting the camera as easy as it could possibly be. Taller cable management bracket compatible with the Easy-Lock system is available separately also.
This is the other of the top 2 most popular camera body types we sell here at Orange Security.

Internal Dome Cameras
These are a lightweight plastic body camera that are great for installation on suspended ceilings when every ounce counts. We stock both a varifocal and fixed lens version of this camera. The camera also doesn’t feature on board infra red illumination for use in locations where it’s better not to have infra red.
This camera style is only suitable for use inside.

Covert cameras come in many different looks and styles. Some are completely covert and hidden in casings that are disguised. Others are just physically very small in size. Generally they are only fitted with fixed lens cameras and without infra red illumination so not for use in total darkness. These are for indoor use only.
These are ideal for capturing what someone is up to but it may be harder to identify the person due to the wide angle of view they offer. Best used in conjunction with other security cameras located throughout the building or where you know who each person on site is such as a house sitter.

Full Vandal Dome Cameras
This used to be a very popular camera body style however is becoming less popular and replaced by the open face domes (shown above) that are easier to install and have better night time image quality. These however offer the ultimate in vandal resistance with the metal body and full plexiglass dome. These are not only vandal resistant but also suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
Whilst these are declining in popularity we do understand that there are some circumstances where the best vandal resistance is required so we still carry these but only with a varifocal lens.
